86er's Track rebuild N2.??? Finally an update page 8

Its most likely to be something alot simpler though. The beams is mad fun but i dont think as a driver i could ever maximize the cars potential so I think Im goin back to basics with the rebuild when it happens so another ground up restoration project, probably with the 16v 4ag as starting engine or back to a blacktop 20v

i know u stop the project but i have a one question,

how much moddification did you do to get the beams manifold to fit,

at height my engine was moounted, only real mod needed for the extractor was to the end section where it meets the cat (had to be shortened, as you may know it goes in a S the whole S part was removed and it was shorted) also had to adjust the angle as it was pointing to ground a bit. I still have fujitsubo 4-1 modded to fit if ur interested

these 2 pics are just teasers as Im so excited to see the car coming back to life, its been a while but I had started about a years and a hald ago to rebuild the 86 as a dedicated track car, will start to post up whole build process again soon, but there are some nice tibits, Ive got another beams motor after alot of debate and thoughts about alot of other 2lt and 1.8lt options. I have to build the car with rules in mind now though so some limitations still, but the above pics are the car as it is now with new suspension on etc and engine in, take a close peek at the engine in the second pic for a clue as to some of the crazy stuff I'm doing , cheers guys good to be back, been watching this forum for last 2 years, seen some amazing builds
