A small project, for now

Hi All,

This was a car i found at a Danish Toyota dealer,were it had been sitting in a garage since august 1995!,
The car had in august 1995 gone throught the Danish MOT,and has only driven 300km since.

I went to look at the car ,to see how bad a state it was in!

At the dealer i had the car raised, so i could see the car underneth,there was just surface rust on it for sitting so long in the garage,but there was som outside the car!

The car have driven 1940000km , but it drives like new!, in 1994 the engine got a head overhaul at Toyota for 1600 euro,
We got the car out of the garage,but on another batteri,and started the car,it humped on three cyllinderes (no wonder)10 year old fuel,and plugs.

As the car heated a bit it fired on all four,I paid 650euro and drove the car 35km home.
I had to take apart the one front brake caliper,as the piston would not go back in!

I new OE front fenders,and used dors,hatch,a bonnet, wich was really easy to find and cheap too,as here in Denmark,it´s only the people that have a AE86,that think it´s wourth money.

so spare parts a almost giving away at car breakers!

the next part is that i´m waiting for some better weather,and then some CBY fenders,a 20v turbo engine and some 9x15 bbs alu´s

I totally agree with you! 650 euros is a steal! Very nice to find something like this!
How long do you have the car now?

I think i have had the car for about 3-4 month


But til the summer time it will be transformed,to a turbo, widearched, tiresmoking AE86 :wink:
