AE86 Dyno Results!
Well I took my car to get dynoed and this is what I got.

1986 TOYOTA COROLLA SR5

Automatic
A/C
Powersteering
2'' Custom Cat-back exhaust, everything else 100% stock down to a OEM Toyota airfilter/Oil Filter.

Max power at rear wheels using a Dynojet:

49.26WHP@3400RPM

18.2WHP@6000RPM

Max Torque:

76.26@3400RPM

19.1@6000RPM

I drive this car daily and these numbers are without the A/C on which takes about 5-7WHP depending on ambiant air temperature. I can get to 60MPH by the end of the on ramp (shifting at 2500RPM) and cruise at 70MPH (@2200-2400RPM) all day long and get 35MPG.

I am reading 50whp...am I missing a 1 somewhere..
A stock 170hp blacktop dyno is interesting too..So far everywhere else in the world people dyno them 10-15 hp under their ratings, but dyno's around Amsterdam produce figures that are 10-15hp higher then the toyota rating.
Got any 0-100km/h measurements? Should be around the 6secs mark with your gearing and hp.

NoHachi, SR5, not GTS

Still I would expect an SR5 to be in the 70 to 90 WHP range...

The 84-87 Corolla SR5 came with a 72HP@Crank engine. At the rear wheels brand new it should put down 50-60rwhp. My Corolla has had a recent tune up with all new toyota parts from the dealership and compression is 10psi under stock all cylinders. My buddy dynoed his 1.3L starlet and he had 42whp. heres a pic of the dyno sheet.

Wraith,

My bad.. I thought the SR5 came closer to the GTS then that... My GTS did 112 whp on the Dyno earlier this year so thats alot of difference....

Still looks like your well within factory specs then so thats great!
