A few little bits done today, mainly just cleaning up and refurbing stuff but it needs doing none the less.
Last time home I noticed a fixing on the grille was broken so the grille was removed, repaired, cleaned up and refitted. Only a minor job but needed doing, grille badge The big hole where the strut brace used to be needs a plate welding in with an inspection cover so I can get to the wiper arm and linkage. The hole.. The template... This will be welded soon when I have the inspection cover. Next up the radiator brackets need some paint, I rubbed them down and masked them up ready to paint. And painted. And back on the car. Next up the airbox needed some attention, its difficult to see but it had blemishes and scratches everywhere. A quick rub down and its ready for paint. And painted Now its the wiper motors turn, no before picture on this one but here it is after the black paint is complete, I will refresh the silver part tomorrow. Next up, I had some window trim missing on each door around the door mirrors, fortunately I managed to track some second hand pieces down, they just needed fettling. Unfortunately the paint got damaged on this side but I will deal with this later. The trim pieces.. I'll paint the trim pieces tomorrow. I'm currently taking HRT ~ Hachi Roku Therapy |

So continuing the theme the wiper motor got the silver parts rubbed down and painted today, it came out pretty good to be fair.
And connected to the wiper linkage and mounted. Now I just need to work out how the MoTeC PDM has been wired so I can connect it up? Door trims cleaned up and painted Drivers side fitted, I can't fit the passenger side yet, I need to attach a stud. Finally fitted the gear shift knob My new wiper linkage inspection cover is finished, original on the right, my new one on the left. Hopefully this gets posted tomorrow and then I get the bulk head plate welded in. Big thanks to Dave at Dave Flew Automotive for making this part as I couldn't locate an original piece. Gave the throttle body trumpets a bit of a clean up A few photos to finish the day off, it's coming along albeit slowly. Next up, fit the front and rear bumpers, side skirts and wire up the wiper motor. I'm currently taking HRT ~ Hachi Roku Therapy |

It's been a few busy days, some progress and some negatives but onwards and upwards.
First up, trial fitment of the rear Run Free bumper Fitment was ok across the back But when the fabricators widened the arches they aledgedley had a fibre glass guy in to modify the bumpers to suit the new arches. As can be seen here, that never happened!!! I need to find a Fibreglass specialist who can modify this bumper to suit. With my latest discovery I thought I would try the front Run Free bumper to see if that had been modified, we are in luck, they did the front bumper, just not the rear bumper Next up, the inside of the car was bugging me, it was absolutely filthy, 3.5 years at the fabricators, 3 years at Zen so it was out with the seats and cleaning products to see what could be done. The 3 year old masking tape was a PITA to get off! Clean up under way, tape off the door bars Arty shot.. Lol Looking much better now Eye bolts for the harnesses Time to clean up my Bride seats, remove all the masking tape. New bolts for the seats, much better than the mix and match set that were in there previously One eyebolt on the drivers side is ok but the one on the tunnel may be an issue on my seat position, may need to move this later. Seat back in its new clean environment with its new bolts I couldn't resist trying the Takata harness, I need to get some buckles to wrap the rears around the roll bar once installed.
