Does it fit? or do i have to buy a new one. its from the year 88

Should be the exact same flywheel as the ones on the ae86 4age's.. so yes..just use it.

I think that flywheels dimension changes 200->215mm on 1989-90 when head changes bigport to smallport, also clutch covers dimension changes, but 212mm flywheel fit on T50 -bellhousing.

I use 212mm flywheel and I'm pretty happy with the bigger clutch.

With AE92 GTi flywheel also you need AE92 GTi cluch.
Toyota scrap yard car park = AE92GTi - AE82GT - KE30 - KP62 |

No need to overcomplicate the answers guys.. the '88 model engines are bigports so the flywheel is the same as the ae86 type, which also means that the clutch plate and cover are interchangeable.

In Australia the AE92 GTI was only sold with the 100kw smallport engine
the only difference to 4AGE SX was the trim internal and extenal So really it should only be biased on the type of 4AGE that the flywheel came off , Big port or Small port Difference between the two on the flywheel is the clutch plate surface area and the bolt / dowel locations so you can use both in the T50 |
