Alloy Hubs from GRP4 Fabrications
So they finally resize them to be able to fit toy grease cap ?!
Any pictures of this BTW ? to see the gouges and the grease cap fitted.

I was thinking to buy them one day or another, but now I think I will just try to find someone to make my own (more expensive but at least I will get exactly what I want)

Yeah I guess they have resized them, or they just messed up what they thought they were making lol

They are at the engineers shop at the moment getting some sleeves machines up to allow me to run the wheels.

They may still be worth the money, but i would personally get some done myself and get that I want for next time.

Sad I was looking to by those too in the near future not so sure now - thanks for posting your experience and pics please.
@Eircamae86: how is there coiloversetup? this was something else I was looking into - there rather on the pricey side but at least with the Bilstein dampers you get some good quality with no questions asked warranty.

They may still be worth it if you are prepared to live with a little trial and error making them work. I really hope the toyota inner and outer bearings fit! Else I am screwed and up for even more engineering time to fix these.

Never actually fitted them as I crashed the car heavily & have had to start again.

The last pain in the ass... the holes were too small for stock Toyota studs, and have to be drilled out. Else, they are now on!

Yes the wheel bearings fitted fine by all appearances (though I have not driven on them yet).

I didnt use the stock cap as a got some alloy ones off a local shop, but they were AE86 sized they said.

Alloy Hubs from GRP4 Fabrications
Hi, I was looking after the ae86 parts in grp4 but I left in december last year so not sure whats going on there anymore.

The ae86 hubs always used an escort grease cap but they were changed to suit a standard ae86 cap shortly before i left.
As for the hub centric aspect, grp4 have been making these hubs for years, since well before I even started with the company and I've never heard that complaint before, I guess they were made to suit the sort of wheels most commonly used on irish rally ae86s.
As for the studs, grp4 supply long studs for fitment to the alloy hubs and the holes in the hubs are drilled to suit these studs as most people buy new studs along with the hubs. They are usually quite tight going in but I have never tried fitting a standard stud so can't comment on that one!
As for the gouges etc. that's something you should raise with grp4 directly if you're not happy. I'll pass on the link to this thread also!
