Approaches to making the AE85 4WD
First off let me add, im not a retard... with that established.
There are some platforms that may work with obvious modification... Toyota Caldina / Carib (4AGE), or the ST20* Celica's, or even the 1UZ... my thoughts are, is the only real way to do this would be by doing a space frame front end... has anyone looked into this at all? And by looked into this I mean actually had practical experience in it or taken measurements and so forth. |

I would start with a shortened subaru floorpan and try and hang the AE86 panels of it. Like so: http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2763036
You do know that we're all curious to know why, if not insanity, you want to do this :-) A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

There was an ae71 rally car for sale on ebay.com.au a few weeks back with a worked 4age & 4wd corolla wagon drive train.
An 86 is for Life, not just for Christmas |

Like so: http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2763036 Well, I have a version 8 WRX, and really like the grip... its a track AE85 that I have, and I like the power from a V8 Turbo Supra I had... just wanting a track car thats very grippy, lots of torque and power... |
