Ok, cool, maar is ie qua vorm hetzelfde dat je weet?
En wat is precies het verschil met een injectie blok, de feul sender toevallig?
Dat zou niet erg zijn want die krijg ik bij mijn digitale dashbord namelijk. Smile

Right, so I'm looking into a new tank, there are a few options.
Unfortunatly, the few that were for sale are already spoken for. Confused

I continued with the rear axle, some pics of rebuilding the rotten part:

We had no big pieces of sheet metal at my work so had to make it from cut up square proffle pieces:

Next was the rear bumper and rear arches.
I wanted a nice finish to them and a good fit.
We placed the bumper a bit higher on the car so the gap between the body and bumper would not be so massive.

That meant the shape near the wheel arches had to be made a bit different than standard, but in my opnion it will turn out alot better looking.

Here is what we cut away:

The gap, I will widen the bumper to match later:

On this side the welder cut a bit to much arch away a while back, so he can tidy it up now:

And also I started brushing away the kit and dirt from the panel overlap, so we can seam weld the chassis.
Bottoms up, because this is the worst part to clean, let's get it over with Smile!:

All the bolts and brackets are now at the plating shop, to get a nice new shiny coat, hopefully they will be done soon! Smile

Just in case - i have a fuel tank in just about as perfect condition as it could be from my trueno... just that shipping it from LT to NL might be a bit pricey...

Thanks Jan! Smile

I removed some parts from the 4age that came out of the car.
Some parts are ok but others are in bad condition.

Like the alternator, the bolt that held it in place on the bracket was stuck to aluminium casing, no way to get it loose.

"Luckily" the alternator was in such a bad shape anyway I could just cut the alternator of the bracket:

Another I was not pleased to find corroded was the neck for the radiator hose, I sandblasted it for cleaning and it came out like this:

That doesn't look like it's going to be watertight anymore. Sad

Then this, maybe it's already a known fact but for me it was new:

All the cooling holes are bigger on the 20V engine, could it be the 20V pump pushes more water around in the angine?
And if so what could be the consequenses of using the restricting 16V parts on it?
