Changing Mileometer reading?
I would think if you reset the guage to the same milage as was shown in the documentation for the car when it's imported that's ok. I have also seen imports being sold with the reading converted from KM's to Miles and updated to reflect this so it must be OK.

Changing Mileometer reading?
Well i changed the reading today...
I took apart the speedo...used the "fork" trick to take off the needle (Thanks Knudsen!!) Took the 2 screws from the speedo face off...and then i was stuck for what to do next. I ended up not actually disassembling the "roll" of numbers...I just kinda used a bit of force to change the numbers by hand. Seemed fine as far as I know. Then I just reassembled it. The longest part was actually getting the needle back on correctly..aha Hopefully I haven't screwed it up! Gauge change coming in the next 2 weeks or so! Trueno for sale! |
