Clutches
ws up at the Drift Skool event at Knockhill today, was a great day, let me learn how my car handles in a relatively safe enviroment.

The biggest problem i found was after a while the clutch was over heating and then slipping, not a good sign, once i let it cool down it was all fine and ready to go again.

my question is, what replacemt clutches are available and how much are they

a couple of people today recomended paddle clutches

I would highly recommend max illegal garage's clutch. Takes any amount of punishment you got in store for it. Feen pretty much like a stock clutch, except when you realy step on it, and get it warmed up, then the bite gets more agressive. Never ever had this clutch slipping unwantedly.

The metal type one ? How does it work ? Is it Ok für streetuse, or does it match faceusing only ? I´m still searching for a clutch for my GZE and I´m not sure witch one to buy.

It's a bit "one-off" style, just leave the pedal in the right place (not sure i can explain this right, sorry), a bit hard, but its ok, i get used to it.

Hmm, than I may go for the more streetusable normal TRD-clutch. The car will be used more for streetdriving than on 1/4mile-racing.

Whatever you guys choose !
please do rememer that paddle-clutched never even last 25% of the period of time a stock clutch would last.
They are intended for racing & there for built to last a short while - in comparison to a stock clutch.

Also - if you get a new clutchplate & decide to use your old preassureplate -
then be well aware of the fact that you need an cluchplate thats has the exact same thickness as the stock one. - If not - it will be slipping directly.

I´m sorry sir, your planet has been sceduled for destruction
in favor of an intergalactic highway -Thank you
