D2 Coilovers any good?
me... I like em! - you can check my topic at NEW MEMBERS...
I have em for a little while now and I think they are excellent... the softness and hardness is great with little buttons you can twist - I also use a little bit of front wheel camber... and I did not put the car on super low yet put on medium... I think its a good set!!! -DWG- Drift Wolf Gaming |

D2 Coilovers any good?
nice! finally someone with good feedback on them..
is it daily drivable? soft setting's good? any weird noises from them? this is the D2 RS?? Oh yeah by the way, by having negative camber does that become a problem for daily driving?? Cheated on my いたずらな女の子 and now I can't get enough of her.. |

Well,
Unfortunatly I dont have this set up, but I´m a daily driver and I use negative camber (-3.0º). For now I don´t have any problems with, not even for the tyres... by the way you can turn much better and faster! |

Do you have pics of your setup? Can the Camber adjustment be done on the car with just the camber adjustable coilovers?

4000GT Wrote:So your point is suspension thats 50% more expensive is better? Shocker! 1100 vs 1500 isn't exactly 50% eh! To be honest, spending 1100 on something that isn't really optimal seems like a terrible waste of money. Though I'm sure that there are sources where you could get them more cheaply, which makes them a lot more reasonable. For 1100 I think you could make your own coilovers with fresh HTS's and springs of your choice. Count on around 600 for the HTS and another 250 for the rear spring setup and around 200 for the fronts. You'd still have 50$ left to have someone shorten the strut for you. A bit more work, same amount of money, but the end result is a lot better. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

2 NoHachi: D2 has few more advantages;
- front camber plates (thats 150$ more) - rear spring on the shock, not sepperated setup (you can't make that yourself) Also I have a official distributer here in my contry and they take their warranty seriously, few guys here allready got new shock etc. no charge at all, everything in perfect oreder. Anybody has expirence with Driftworks setup, can't find any pics IRL, mounted to the car.. I really like that you get complete front strut, camber plates and even RCA's. For that price really cool.. Also wondering can rear spring be mounted to the shock, so that it's not sepperated!? http://www.driftworks.com/shop/p825/Drif..._info.html Toyota scrap yard car park = AE92GTi - AE82GT - KE30 - KP62 |
