Different ECU of AE86 ? ? ?
Just had a better look, they are indeed all zenki ECU's.. But I do know that zenki and kouki dont mix with these things. These look exactly like the ones I have seen in the netherlands, so I guess these came from mainland europe map sensored cars..

In the UK the 89661-xxxxx numbers for the AE86 are 89661-12040 89661-12130 The rev limit is 7600rpm on these UK AE86 ECUs. It limits at 7600rpm and the fuel stays cut until the rpm falls below 7400rpm. The ECU PCB on these ECUs is slightly different to the ones pictured above. I think the UK numbers are for 1985 cars as the date codes on the chips show 1985. The date code on the ECUs on this thread show 1983 so they might be older. |

Royalmatt Wrote:[quote="JMR_AW11"]Does the main MCU chip say 151801-0481 on all three ECUs? In that case the MCU has the same masked ROM pattern programmed into it in all 3 ECUs. The MCU looks different from the outside but it will be the same device in a slightly different case package. All 3 ECUs should be the same. Are these ECUs easy to obtain in France? I have done a lot of research into the UK 4A-GE ECU and would like to read out the ROM pattern from the MCU of one of these French ECUs. |
