Just SR5 one is non-compatible.

It's compatible. There's just no need to disassemble cw and p since I got an all new housing with my 4.78 I'd sell you mine with the original dif ratio...that's why I stated "open diff". As such, there would be no need to fine-tune the diff for tolerances too.

I don't get this. If your cwp is on an open diff, that would make it an SR5 diff meaning I cannot use the cwp. Right? Dumb question

No. Some GTS use open diff (and all SR5 too, but SR5 one is little different). All GTS crown/pinion combos are compatibles in GTS rear end. There is an issue about compatibility of open diff (GTS) halfshafts only - they must be shortened in order to work with LSD diff (GTS). But crown/pinions are compatible.
In short - you can use any CWP coming from GTS. You can't use SR5 CWP.

So question is, is Bruno's diff from an SR5 or from GTS?

Mux, maybe we should move this talk somewhere else instead of ruining this thread.

SR5 ring gear measures 6.3", GTS ring gear measures 6.7" The only company I know of who made(not sure they still have it.....) a LSD for the smaller 6.3" ring and pinion is/was Cusco

*IF* you use a complete assembly.... you have to be careful of zenki/kouki differences. The one significant different is the axles splines are different from zenki to kouki, so you need the correct axles to fit the spider gears(in an open diff) or the LSD splines in a LSD diff

Dan -

You can |Sad .... OR you can ask for help!!!

Is there not an SR5 with a 6.7" rear end in the USA then?

Did the US get a 10-bolt pumpkin drum brake rear end?

All 10-bolt pumpkins are 6.7" cw&p.
