I need to buy some filters for my Blackie. Do you have any experiences with pipercross, kn, or some other brands?

Where did you buy them, and what is the price?

Instead of doing individual filters, maybe do the complete cover from ITG filters or Jenvey.

They work well (better than individual socks/k&n's) as they allow room for airflow to enter the stacks/bellmouths sideways, and can look awesome.

Fitting advice

Selection of the filter element depends on the amount of
room available.
ITG recommend fitting the tallest element possible, though
a gap of 1/2” (13mm) average must be left over the top of
the filter for air to circulate.
If using ram pipes, there must be an absolute minimum gap
of 3/4” (19mm) or preferably 11/4” (32mm) between the end
of the pipe and the underside
of the top of the filter.

I've used uni socks (the light-green ones).
When I had them on I've noticed a very big responce and power loss...
When you are using filter on velocity stack you must have a very large area...
