Fitting driftworks CS2 coilovers

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of fitting Driftworks CS2 coilovers to my AE86 and was wondering if someone on this forum has done this before as I have some questions.

My questions are:
- I cannot get the front outer wheel bearing to slide over the spindle as it does on the OEM set-up. It would need to be pressed on with a hydraulic press in order to fit but I can not imagine this is correct. Has anyone experienced this as well?
- The bottom mounting point of the rear shocks seems to be wider than the pin on the rear axle it slides onto. Therefore the bush is not fully supported. Is this a problem?
- Do I need the OEM rubber and steel washers to mount the top of the rear shocks? I'm currently running aftermarket shocks and their rubber and steel washer do not fit the CS2's. If I need the OEM parts does anyone has them for sale?

I've also contacted Driftworks on the above but no response yet.

I can't help with your questions but I would say that you would be better off asking on the Driftworks technical forum as a lack of response from the Driftworks team would not be good practice.

The driftworks crew were off for a couple of days and I have just recently asked them. Normally they respond pretty quick so I expect they will reply soon.

I am curious though if someone on this forum has experienced the same especially with fitting the wheel bearings.
