rear wheel bearings

is here a diferance between the 1984 rear wheel bearings, and cars from 1985 onwards?

seen bearings advertised for 1985/87 but nothing for the 1984

is there a differance or do they fit all years?

Zenki (early model) and Kouki (late model) halfshafts have different splines because the kouki models are slightly thicker, but I'm not sure if that translates to different bearings. It could very well be....

nah the wheel bearings are the same as far as I know
The only problem is disc brake rears and drum brake rears are different bearings (drums are hella cheaper! )

All ae86s (1983-1987) with rear disk brakes use the same halfshaft bearing size. As oli said above, be careful not to buy the "drum" type. They are cheaper indeed, but are not the correct ones.
