Dorito, tnx on pics.

Ok guys, i think i've found something intresting in distinguishing 4A-GE engine variants, that i haven't found anywhere on the net.

Cam pulleys on small port, red top, non tvis engines are different then on the big port engines!
AE92 Red top + small port, no TVIS, 4A-GZE = 5 spoke cam pulleys
Blue / Red+Black top, Big port, TVIS = 6 smal circles inside cam pulleys

please confirm.
tnx

Dorito Αδελφέ μου,

Yes the red car is indeed a full TRD car, really good but sadly the owner is.... He is a friend of the man who sold me mine AE86, sharing the same mechanic. He is in the millitary, he doesn't like sharing...

Anyway, how much did you pay for the JUN flywheel and the HKS stuff?
Man, I 've told you I can get you much better prices...

Geia sou re Achillea!

The HKS springs were 111 USD, the JUN flywheel was 323 USD, postage and credit card charges were 110 USD, total 544 USD = 420 EUR approx.

Anyway, there's some news. I finally got the short-shift and big-small-port adaptor from Gabriel at T3. Quality is beyond judgement. Has to be seen.
Cost came to 308 USD total, approx. 240 EUR.

The new head is finished and now we're working on the block. Assembly of the motor should be finished by Saturday. Then all synchros will be changed on the gearbox.

Also, the car is being painted in the engine bay. It took me a while to strip all the stuff out of there so the paintshop could get rid of the rust and oil and paint it. Pictures of that when I tow the car back to the mechanic.

Finally I got me a used set of 4 Work Equip 01 wheels with tyres. Condition is nearly perfect (except the yellow colour Huh which I have to fix. But there is no hurry. There's more important stuff to do first.

Also, look what I found lying around in the workshop...Yes, it's a 20V head with Toda cams and cam gears. According to the mechanic the owner managed to break the crank through revving... Huh
