Grooved discs and Ferodo DS pads
I'd say both are really good, but mintex has the bites-from-cold advantage for streetdriving, whilst the ds2500's are the kind of pad I would only use for trackdays since they dont bite too well before they are warmed up a bit.

I've just tried the DS3000 (Ferodo) and found them more agressiv than the DS2500. But wheels lock easier too .
The bad point of that , is that you need to cut pads to have the AE86 caliper shape ( about 3 hours of work) , but it's worth to do it .

I have had many drilled discs crack because of heat. The only ones I have not seen crack are the porsche discs because the holes are cast into the disk during manufacturing and not drilled after they are manufactured.

No wiring sorry Rik.

Fensport sell grooved black diamond discs but they are expensive.
