disassembling a diff and LSD?
first of all:
sorry if it's a repost! secondary: is there something i have to be very carefull with? something i can break, or something that can break me... that's how the diff looks ATM: i have partly disassembled the diff, but i want to clean and wash it all to see all the bits clear and all the possible damage, so, can anyone help me plz? cheers in advance, adam |

Those side bearing outer races you've already removed - mark them with something so that you remember which one belongs to which side. Unless you're going to replace the bearings with new ones, of course. Same thing with the bearing caps on the diff carrier - mark which one goes on which side. Easiest thing to do is to take a punch pin and put two punches on both the carrier and cap on one side and one punch on the other side.
