Oil catch tank is pretty simple think to instal.

1. Find a good spot (that must be away from the exhaust manifold and extensive heat)

2. Mount it.

3. There is an oil hose going to your intake where the throttle is, find it and see where it goes (it goes on top of the engine)

4. Go and buy some more hose (meassure how much you need)

5. Connect the throttle outlet to one of the tanks inlets and from the engine outlet out the other tank inlet.

Thats it

Alternatively, you can close the engine outlet entirely, and put a small oil breath filter to the tank.

...but...if you close the engine outlet entirely....how will the catch tank fill with oil?

Big Grin haha.. yes dont close of the engine outlet... thats were the crankshaft breathing is... and its that outlet/vent you want to direct to your catchtank instead of your intake manifold.. In that way you wont get any oil "recycled" through your intake manifold/combustion.

If you prefer not to collect all these oil vapours on your throttle body and burn them in your engine - you must use oil catch can (or just small filter at the end of tube instead to open it directly to the atmosphere).

You can do a little experiment: take your car and start driving in a circle (lefthand turn), then pick up some speed. Keep it up for a few rounds and have a look in the rearview mirror. Do make sure you have enough oil in your engine before you start doing this.

The correct answer should be: a smokescreen.
Really there isnt such a thing as an install guideline afaik. You need a container with an inlet and outlet, some hose and thats it. You mount the can anywhere you can find enough room, then you just remove the little hose from the head to the inlet manifold and replace it with 2 long rubber hoses going to your catchcan. Couldnt be much simpler. A catchcan is not really necessary on a roadcar, but has it's uses for drifting and trackdriving. Some people have reported the smoking problem to have happened on long highway turns, but I have never experienced that myself.
