How to reduce throttle axle gap
I had an annoying problem with throttle axle gap for a quite a long time, so I decide to fix it. I took a piece of rubber gasoline hose 10mm inner diameter, 16 outer (reduced to 15 mm) and bout 10mm long and I just pressed it in from the TPS side. To do that, I had to remove TPS and plate for turning TPS. After I stick the hose in, I put the TPS back on and recalibrate it. The inner diameter of hose is 10mm, so the axle can move smoothly as the axle has 9mm diameter. I was trying to find an oil seal instead of rubber hose but it seams that there is no 10/15 available on the market, so I just go for a piece rubber hose.
Now I don’t have a gap any more and the throttle is running smoothly and nicely as it should and with out vibrations. Fun is not the straight line! |
