Best to take a look at the photos and see - I reckon a header designed specifically for s2000 use is no good at all.

The header stays very close to the block and gearbox - which is exactly where my steering column is. you can see on this drawing.

its a 4-1 and like i said the 4 meets the one more forward than stock, have you been quoted on a custom header yet?

Quick update,

I think the exhaust issue will be resolved shortly.

I think the people with special powers in the real home of the hachi (i.e. Ireland) will be sorting me out an entire new exhaust system for the car. That means the apexi system I have now will probably be up for sale at some point. watch this space.

I have also 'hopefully' got my new instruments on the way to complement the s2000 red/amber instrument clusters. Defi BM amber illuminated 60mm Water Temp, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Exhaust Gas and a nice AEM UGO wideband lambda probe and digital AFR gauge....yummy.

Quick update.

New full exhaust system should be here by the end of the week/early next week - then we can weld up the mount and tunnel at last.

Template for s2000 instruments - easy to cut carbon sheet now



more new T3 parts



outsteering arms are modified to negate geometry changes due to dropping down the front x-member 2" so the engine fits in.

Few more bits to come from T3 (rosejointed front tension rods, rack bushes etc)

Still waiting on a sunroof panel from JonT

The front suspension and geometry is now pretty much sorted. I already had camber plates, top hats and RCAs but I decided to just replace the lot with brand new stuff. So I have cusco camber plates, cusco RCAs and unknown top hats for sale if somebody wants to make me an offer.

* T3 camber plates
* T3 NCRCA giving 20mm wider front track each side
* T3 needle bearing top hats
* T3 manaul steering rack adapter bushes (ditching the PS)



* T3 rose jointed tension rods



All that is left to do on the front suspension now is rosejoint the front lower arms. can't decide if its worth the hassle or not right now.

So thats about it for now. My exhaust should have gotten shipped from ireland on wednesday but I havent checked if its arrived at NMS yet - if it has we can get cracking - if it hasnt not a lot we can do.[/quote]
