Ivan's coupe: bodywork is done
sounds great
if you can't find one, here in Tilburg, there is a DIY garage also "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

Ivan's coupe: bodywork is done
The new exhaust is now on the car...took me and Doc 3 hours to get it done.. I would have done it faster if it wasnt for the bolts from the downpipe to the exhaust that where stuck. We had to torch the manifold and clean all the threads + install new bolts. The exhaust fit's pretty well considering it's a cheap knock-off...it only sits a cm too far to the left at the exhaust tip...nothing to worry about. I'm sure Doc will supply some pics when he comes online.
So..BIG thanks to Doc for lending a hand.. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

this thread is worthless without pics

hmmm, a small difference...
Famous TRD High Rise header Trying to get some bolts loose, after removing exhaust from the car (after we found out that the bolts wouldn't come loose on the car... ) That didn't work also, but after a bit of teasing with the torch.... Bloody hot, but no bolts anymore And the endresult: It's still a bit smelly, but at least it's MOT worthy "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

About the people nagging me why I kept it stock: sports exhausts are expensive and take longer to get over here. This thing was cheap and my car is 1,5 months overdue for it's MOT (apk). A full janspeed would have cost me over 750 euro's..this was about 290 including the cost of renting a bridge at a DIY garage for 3 hours. My car looks like shit at the moment so I'd rather spend my money fixing up the bodywork while making sure that I get it back in good mechanical condition (only need to fix the ring+pinion to do that).
