To get back to my posting about the right-arches:
I took an inventory today since I was going to wash the hachi and found out the rust behind the bumper became much worse, probably due to it not being mounted properly. Crying
To indicate the size of my problem I've drawn it on the pic attached. Undecided

So, I am really interested in that particular part of your car if yours isn't gone as well. Tongue

Banpei, the bit behind the bumper can be replaced by any bit of metal, its behind the bumperSmile

As for the arch, auch that looks like a big hole but again I think its pretty doable with a bit of body work from another toyota that is similar to a hachi.

That's true, but I figured it would be easier to replace it as a whole. Smile

We'll see.. the right side is not really rusted in that spot on the wheelarch..more towards the bottom of the wheelarch and around the rear light cluster. We'll just have to wait and see how the quarter panels look once they're off. I do hope to set a date for the whole operation sometime this week. If I need to order the rear panel from toyota myself, so be it.. On another sidenote I have probably found an engine that's had a lazy life behind it for a small sum..so I can remove my current oil-consuming 4AGE that has probably had a bit more abuse (some from me as well I must admit).

I think I'll be able to help you out with that if all goes well.
