Jezza HR's Project..now with 20V goodness
I'm between staines and guildford mate. My car resides in AE86 central. There are 6 AE86's within 5 miles of each other right here Thumbs up!

Jezza HR's Project..now with 20V goodness
It's been a long time since I posted anything in this thread. Since I last posted, I have done most of what I had intentions on doing.

Car has been undersealed (professionally I might add)

Oil has been changed everywhere (and in my opinion Redline MT90 is so slick it makes Automatic gearbox oil feel like honey)

I have done most of my poly bushes but im waiting for a spot of warmer weather to do this to the full

Got wheels aligned and tracking done (yet it seems worse than before. Need a better place to do this in future Angry )

As for what still needs / I would want to be done:

Havent got the lateral rod as yet, as for some reason the line up seems perfectly fine without it, may still need to get one for fine tuning later on.

Paint work hasn't been touched up (after this incident the other day, which wasnt my fault. I decided, i'm going to do a full body respray later in the year when I have a bit more cash)

The dent has been removed by my kind brother, the dent repair man but the light needs to be sorted.

Which brings me on to my next purchase...Redlines Yummie! I'm just waiting for a contact to get back to me for sourcing on a set Smile

To match up I have already ordered these - Raybriggs and may get a full HID conversion kit if the improvement isn't quite good enough.

As for the engine upgrade. I'm still undecided between 4AGZE, 20V and 16V upgrade. I'm going to have to take this out further down the line when I have my own place to live with my own garage to work from.

Either way, I now have a mental image of how I would like the car to look and will start moving in this direction. I think you guys will be happy with what I have done by the end of it Thumbs up!

Good to hear that your dent got sorted Thumbs up!

Redlines would be great on your car of course. I just got special 'Chinese New Year' offered for 150 euro for a set Whitelines but they still in Malaysia and the shipping cost would be more too I think.

Hmm I would offer my whitelines to you if the left light wasnt in the state it's in. I may have to keep them in case (god forbid) anything was to ever happen to my redlines and I need a quick spare.

Right I managed to fit the new lenses, with a bit of difficulty, i'm going to have to get a new surround as some of the screws are so old they just corroded when I tried unscrewing them and some just wouldnt budge without damaging the surround Undecided.

Once it was done the difference was pretty big. I noticed a lot more light distribution than before with a more concentrated light in in direct view. I will be adding HID's to these at some point, to make those night time country road trips far more enjoyable Big Grin Here's a few pics.

Original and Raybrig

On the left hand side is the Raybrig and on the right is the original.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone, they have made an instant improvement in vision for me Thumbs up!

Indeed a big difference. You can tell by the reflection on the bumper. But what about us Levin guys....I guess we're a bit unlucky in that sense.

Looking forward to seeing the coplete result (with the redlines on)!

Is it xenon or just normal halogen? Might be worth for me as well if it were the last category. Wink
