Kouki ECU in a Zenki car???

Hi guys

Can i install a kouki ECU (89661-12130) in a Zenki car (89661-12060 inside). Would there be any problem?

What is the differences between the two ECUs (appart from prices: Zenki +-500€, Kouki +-1.000€)

Kouki ECU into zenki hachi wont work.
Have tried this, but the engine wouldnt start.
I'd also advise you to find a source for ECU's that wont rip you off.. 50 to 100 euro's are reasonable prices. I have a bunch of em that I would be more than happy to sell you, but have forgotten which ones where good and which ones not (plus that I have ae82/92 ones too).

Thanks, sorry for the prices, haha!, these are that appears in the toyodiy (approximately).

I didn't say before, i have a complete kouki engine, and it was faster than the zenki mine. I changed injectors and intake cam, but something is missing in high RPM (about 6.000 pushing disappears, aldo did it before the change) i think it will set-up, but i thought it would improve something with the ECU.

You need to keep your electronics and your ECU matched. I think the biggest difference is in the ignition system, but there are more differences I'm sure. The engines don't differ very much between zenki and kouki.
I would sooner suspect your cam timing or ignition timing of holding the engine back.
