Ivan........
I could make them for you & send then to you if you like. it would be 2mm or 3mm of your choice ! difference in price is..... 1 square meter 2mm Lexan = 20 Euro 1 square meter 3mm Lexan = 30 Euro I doubt that shipping would be very expensive. the only problem is that you cannot roll upp & down the windows with Lexan windows. I have mine secured with an m6 bolt/nut but do you also want the rear window ? The boxes that the shocks came in said Tokico Blue (even on the Tokico sticker) & i have had no problems with the shocks at all yet. Hi Kristian,
Very nice car you have there, although I liked it best when it was just a clean white car without the stickers (but then i'd like sponsors paying part of the bill as well ![]() Could you do me a favour regarding the shocks? When you have some spare time, could you just peak under the car and measure the distance between the end of the shockbodies and the bumpstops? With the usual tokico blues this distance should be zero, thus eliminating the shocks and springs ability to do any work. Perhaps you have some special shortened edition? If people would start to buy the ordinary blues and dropping the car 13cm they would be in for a suprise... A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Wow, that's pretty cheap for lexan! I'm assuming you wont be able to roll up the windows anymore because they lack anti scratch coating, or is it because you wanted to save weight by removing the window mechanism?
I'm going to give my friend over at GE a call, see what basic 3mm lexan would cost per square meter. At 20 euro's per square meter i can afford to replace them once in a while, as long as I can still open my windows. I'm only doing the side windows by the way, unless lexan doesnt fog like ordinary glass does, that ,might be a reason to think about replacing the rear glass. (It's not as big of a window on coupe's as it is with hatchbacks so weight is less of a problem.) Did you need to bend the lexan to make it fit or is it a flat piece? If it's flat I can make it myself. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
