Lambda sensor
I want to fit an aftermarket wideband system to my '86, it has a tubular 4 into1 manifold and will likely be running carbs. I guess the best place to fit the sensor is in the end of the manifold tube after the collector and before it goes into the exhaust. Can anyone confirm this please.

Check the installation recommendations available from a wideband
supplier such as Innovate. The bung needs to be in the top half of the tube/pipe, and preferably on top. This is to reduce the possibility of condensation hitting the hot sensor at startup. Cheers... jondee86 |
