You should put the gauge somewhere where the oil is the hottest. Not the temp after a cooler.

He refered to the pressure sender I think...and he also mentioned to put it in the line TO the cooler...still not ideal, but better than after the cooler.

I was refering to the oil temp. gauge. Im mounting it as close to the engineblock as possible before the oilcooler.. I know that the best place to mount it is in the oil pan, but i hope that this works just as good. Afterall the outtake to the oilcooler, should be the place where the oil is the hottest.

I spent an hour triming the dashboard with dremel tool.

Oil temp sender will have to go to the oil pan.
Still no idea where to put oil preasure sender because it's bit big and bulky.
