What do you intend to build?
The OEM driveshaft isn't usually a problem as long as it is in proper working condition(no tight, or loose joints) Concerning power capability of the T50, it is usually torque that is a gearboxes enemy, not usually horsepower. With that said, a gentle driver can make it hold up longer.... but the tipping point on a T50 is about 100#/ft of torque, or barely above stock. *IF* used spiritedly... a stock 4AGE will destroy a T50 in less than 50k miles. Adding one of the 2 TRD gear sets will get you another 20%, but the box was designed a long time ago to take 40-80 #/ft originally. Dan - You can |  ....
