Multigauge, alternative to Stack dash
I'm looking for a multigauge, like the Stack Dash, but this unit its pretty expensive!
Does anybody know about other systems? I need oiltemp, oilpressure, watertemp, fuellevel and speed (km/h). I will use a analogue tachometer and AFR. Project AE86 now begun. Cars I have owned: Toyota Starlet EP91 1,3 16v Turbo, 200hp Toyota Starlet EP71 1,3 12v Sport Mercedes 207D camper, 1977. Toyota Starlet EP70 with a 174hp Silvertop 20v See video here: http://videos.streetfire.net/search/Star...079edc.htm Toyota Corolla AE101 with a 164hp Silvertop 20v. (Evolution bodykit and candycolor paint). Volvo 240 2,1 (The only car I have maked money on). Toyota Corolla EE90 (my first car) |

the Defi unit is nice but almost as expensive as the Stack and at least last time I checked only sold AND fitted by a few chosen shops all based in Japan.

That Defi look cool, but if the price are the same as Stack, I will not choose Defi
I did look on Ebay first, but most of them look like shit. AE86 are a classic car and it should not be ruined with fancy green and blue LEDs I though about the Stack ST700 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stack-ST700-Da...2ebb28fd38 just with a bit higher rpm range. But it dont have all the features I want, so I will have to get at least 2 gauges more. Who needs speed and fuel level anyway? Project AE86 now begun. Race Technology Dash 2 are a bit too fancy with digital tacho.
But I found this little LED display http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZADA-TECH-EGT-...4ab3ced5e5 and then add a regular Stack tachometer and a Stack AFR Have anyone tryed this LED display? Really? To me it looks rather cheap and plasticy, if you remove the digital stuff you end up with something that looks like it came straight out of a Kia Rio. Different strokes for different folks.

Different strokes for different folks. Haha, you mayby right. If it turns out it look silly, I can use it in my Starlet Turbo. I really want the Stack ST800 but I cant find a used one. A new one cost a fortune. But I also love the Stack ST700, its a bit cheaper. Project AE86 now begun.
