My Drift project - 83' Trueno coupe
Got all the parts from Machine shop - and started on the engine assembly! FINALLY Whoo hoo!
Some parts that are all around in garage And here we go: Crank goes in: Gaping for the piston rings... work that sucks big time - cuz if its too much - its too much Friend of mine putting rings on - with huge fear Cuz it was sunday - and he was talking how its not good to work on sundays Houston - we have a problem... All the parts came from machine shop balanced / weight aligned... well - afte we put all the rods / pistons in - we found out - that my GZE pistons DO NOT have cut outs for the oild squirters... Oh well - quick call around - i managed to get some acurate weight scale + some dremel took = now pistons are ready to go in again with some cut outs for the oil squirters Here how much had to cut out to make some clearance And finally - block is in one piece New oil pump goes in: Thats it for today Next thing - Corolla chasis goes back to body shop - for some extreme suspension updates Ex-owner of JDM 83' Trueno Coupe DCw Classic, classic cars restoration, JDM wheels & parts import, sales. http://www.facebook.com/DogCustomWorks +37067170000 |
