Time for Update Finally - there was A LOT of work done... Basicly - i finished with all the metal works, all the welding works, and finally finished with bottom of the car.. so starting from Monday i will try to get it to one piece
Here are some pics of the process: My SSR MKII Came home 14x7.5 ET-12 Also - got some nice Tires for them More toys - Adjustible tension rods, BOSCH external fuel pump, Swirl pot, 555cc Injectors, External 40mm WG.... My Custom Aluminium Radiator / IC for the V-mount setup is finaly at home too And here is some Arch work: Heres the Front finished and on the Right height of the car Welding all the chasis: After all the welds - some anti rush epoxyd primer: After primer dried up complietly - lots and lots and LOTS of cleaning.... And first layer of protective structural paint: After it dried - few more layers of paint: And for the final - all the chasis was filled with Anti-rust / water rejective Wax / oil (dont know how its called in English propertly ) After fill up - car was rolled to all the different angles just to be sure wax got in every corner of the chasis Now im done with the bottom Finally!!! I love what you are doing. But to be honest I would just use a tectyl on the bottom just to be sure.

Cuz what i used is: Berner Stone chip potection (drying) 4 layers. Normal acrylic paint (2 layers) In all the openings - Dinitrol ML wax And on all the wheel arches i willl be using Berner's NOT drying (elastic) anti-rust / stone chip protector.... As im not gonna be using this car in Winter / daily - so it will be more then enouth i guess... Ok time for update
Some more progress is done finally - not much but still... Got 14x8 ET3 SSR MKII in Japan - they are already in my garage now Reasembled rear of the Nissan to get all the parts painted / fixed After some sandblasting - painted them with some black plastic based paint: Just need to get the Solid inserts in the rear... Also - got another shipment from japan: This is the adjustible top arms from Cusco.. just need to get all the other ones shipped... And finally got the car on the ground and on the wheels So now just need to start working on the Engine bay - and get the chasis painted... Heres the stance of how it sits now And my god damn collection of wheels And the biggest update of them all was gearbox housing Finally its done... so now i can put the engine back in and start fabricating all the things Oh, and the finall - Tilton brake cilinders and Wilwood Floor mounts: Just hopping that the next update will be pretty soon once i get the works going Ex-owner of JDM 83' Trueno Coupe DCw Classic, classic cars restoration, JDM wheels & parts import, sales. http://www.facebook.com/DogCustomWorks +37067170000 |
