Need RUST!!! Help.
Hey guys.

I have one guestion for you brainy fullas.

On my drivers side front panel I have little spots of rust...now I took back the paint and found that the rust had made its way right through the metal. My question to you guys is, can I just use rust neutralizer and paint that on then use panel filler over that then prime and paint install of having to go through the painfull exersize of have to basicly cut all the little rust parts out and get it all welded up again. On the rust neutralizers bottle it says just paint on then allow to dry then paint over it or put panel filler straight on and rust will not grow.

I have cut all the large rust parts out but I dont think its need for these little parts...but what do you guys think.....will the neutralizer do its job?

Heres a pic of some of the rust.

Maybe will look strange - but try to fill these micro-holes with tin.
My first car was retro - '59 Vauxall Cresta. When I strip the paint, I noticed that all repair jobs were done with tin instead of a polyester filler. Advantages - will not crack, rust have no chance anymore.
Disadvantages - must be primered carefully, is harder to apply too.
