New Fuel Pump for the 4AGZE
hi guys,
I got a new fuel pump for the GZE and its a 255LHP.. Do you think by adding it my fuel consumption will be increased drastically? If it would it there anyway I can control it by adjusting flow so that I can bring it to the same level as it is with my stock pump? Cheated on my いたずらな女の子 and now I can't get enough of her.. |

Fuel pump flow capacity has no influence on consumption.
Why have you changed fuel pump in first place ? Why have you picked 255 l/h pump ? That pump is sufficient for much stronger (more fuel consumption) engines, your 4AGZE most probably will never need it |

New Fuel Pump for the 4AGZE
I'm still running my stock 4AGE pump so I was told that the stock pump is not enough..
Is that true? Would I have a better acceleration with this pump? Wouldn't the higher flow actually make more fuel to burn? Sorry I was convinced by my mechanic that by putting the new pump I will lose economy.. Cheated on my いたずらな女の子 and now I can't get enough of her.. |

New Fuel Pump for the 4AGZE
The fuel pump pressurizes the fuel rail. There is a return line from the pressure regulator on the rail that will bypass all excess fuel back to the pump through the return line, so in theory, you shouldnt get higher consumption (unless the fuel pressure regulator cant flow enough to get rid of the excess pressure).
It wont make any difference on acceleration unless your engine suffered from fuel starvation with the old pump. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

In other words, stronger pump is there "if needed".
If your previous pump was sufficient, you will see no difference. |

I think that's just the characteristic of your engine. Boost + cams might change it, more fuel most likely wont.

So by adding the fuel pump I shouldnt see any fuel consumption increase nor a performance gain right?
