NoHachi's KE25 corolla coupe
Well guys, today's the first time I laid eyes on my brothers new car. These things are smaller than you would imagine, but it is pretty cool.
The interior looks really cool, seats are black and look like leather (which they are not), they also have these really cool "C" logo's on them. Sadly the comfort of the springs in the seats is a bit less nice than the looks.
I got to drive a lil bit in it, man is that a diffrent experience. It rides on very skinny tires that look like they belong on a bicycle..we'll soon fix that.
Anyway..enough blabla, here are the pics:

Thats her, my new pride and joy.
Driving it on these tires is somewhat of a experience. Anything over 100km/h is downright scary! Car gets real floaty and needs big steering inputs for small corrections. Accelerating a bit more agresively resulted in wheelspin in first (obviously) and on the 1->2 upshift (less obvious with just 50bhp or so).
Anyway, the car was never intended to stay stock. Someone else can go and conserve one for future generations, this one is going to be slightly modded. Anyone that has on of these parts, please let me know:

AE86 front struts
AE86 or similar fornt brake callipers
AE86 or similar (celica? AE82?) clutch pedal and clutch master cylinder setup.
AE86 rear axle inc brake callipers
Gauge cluster from a 4A-GE 20v equipped corolla
AE86 4A-GE motor mounts
AE86 RWD T series tranny
AE86 or AE85 drive shaft
RWD 4A-GE alternator+brackets

etc etc..Start cleaning out those sheds guys! I'll shoot som more pictures in the morning.

@Knudsen, I need a gauge cluster that accepts the tacho input from the 20V engine, so basically hoping people would have a gauge cluster left from a AE111 etc front cut.

@Aico, If you end up with the SR5 driveshaft clogging up your basement, just give me a call. The KE-25 platform is shorter then the AE86/85 so its not a problem for me, basically need the universal joints and slider machanism.
I'm really looking for a AE86 axle and diff (with LSD). The effort to swap is the same in both situations, so might as well do it properly the first time. Also, 145bhp@750kg is just no fun with an open diff.

@Kris: thanks for the compliments and thanks for helping out with searching for a suitable engine! Come down and take her for a spin when all is ready.

@Mux: Thanks man, but the pics are a bit flattering. She needs a fair amount of work. Particularly around the front lower bumpervalance and the sidesills. Luckily new sills are just 30E a piece so no prob.
