Whats wrong with the rear suspension? Just the fact that its just a pair of leaf springs holding the axle to the car?

well, if i turn into a corner, one side scrapes the asphalt and the other side is 5m up in the air
 I think that can be alot better when the front suspension is sorted out, but still, those leafsprings are a bit unpredictable

Doc, a 3TC is about twice as heavy as a k-series..

Its been a while since there has been activity on the KE-25 front. I had real trouble locating a new window for the car and, as I had expected, not driving the car made me increasingly less motivated to make the 200km roundtrip to work on the car in the garage.
Good news though, brandnew windshield has been located and is arriving on the 23rd. Hopefully things will pick up from here on. The car was already scheduled for a restauration session at a local bodyshop. She'll receive her new 13x6 magnesium minilite shoes and drive over herself, saving me 100E worth of towing truck costs. Hope to have the car fully resprayed and on ae86 suspension before money runs out again ;-). I am having doubs about the colour scheme..Basically two options: 1. full orginal broken white with black trim 2. BP racing colours from the 60s..might be a nice intermediate solution if the body repair work becomes to expensive. It would allow me to just respray the bottom areas of the car with elastic paint. (Example added). Ivan has a photochop of how it might look on the KE. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

Well, I like the BP but I'd go for the original myself... Might be good as solution for a while though |
