Piston rings ?
Hello,
Is there any difference in piston rings between the small and big port ? Replaced head gasket and piston rings 500km ago and it looks like the engine is using oil. Filled it up untill max on the dipstick and now it is half way between full and "empty". Maybe it has to be broken in ? I use different oil now, before I used Castrol 10w40 semi synt now using valavoline durablend 10w40 semi synt. thanks Jos http://www.heerlijklimburg.nl |

Piston rings ?
I dont know if there are differences between the piston rings of the high and low compression pistons, but if your engine was using oil before, then you might also consider changing your valve seals.

Piston rings ?
I think it is normal for the engine to burn some oil while breakin' in.
I've done almost 1500 miles and I already added 1 liter of Castrol RS Formula 10W60 100% Synth Best regards |
