I know in Japan you ought to keep left and pass on the right (just like the reverse is true in NL) so it may look like a violation. However in some cases it's better to stay in the middle lane (when on-ramps are expected for instance) so it might have been a case like this and an unfortunate edit. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

In Belgium you can choose to get squished between trucks in the slow lane. Hog the middle lane and piss people off or choose the fast lane and get tailgated by audi/bmw/mercedes...

As far as I know Belgium, about 80% of its population choose the 'hog the middle lane and piss people off' option, to a dutch guy this is weird behavior, but after hitting a few potholes on the highway in Belgium I think I know why they do it.

@r.ave Yea, probably start.up.go, vhs_refresh, takumifuji etc...
Goldmine of old magazine scans @Ivan141 The highways are bad but the regular roads are the worst. And since my car is now completly polybushed you really feel every little crack, hole, imperfection in the road. Does anyone have any photos of Iida Akira's car that they could share please?
It's a cool car that seems to have been mostly forgotten. You have to wonder if he still has this car, hopefully he does. |

A new Japanese advertisement for the GR86 also has a zenki panda Trueno AE86 in it. Definitely worth watching!
It's amazing how much effort they put into this stunt to get through the previous generation 86 and go outside again and continue the drift. Video-Option did a 15 minute clip on how they managed to do it. Word of caution: the panda Trueno will be damaged during one of the stunts! 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Not really an inspirational video, but mind boggling that at least 7 hachi-rokus and 1 hachi-go ended up in this awful fate:

Yeah, call me a salty old man. I don't care.
I've probably forgotten more about cars than that sammit youtuber will ever know, and I even have a bigger vocabulary than just "guys". Strange how he's the one making car content that people watch. This image is from a SniffPetrol article that you can find here:SniffPetrol Frankly it sums up what I think of sammit and most of the car channels on youtube. |
