Carbon roof with sunroof? WANT! Big Grin
But 6 / 2.6 is a bit soft in the rear or too harsh up front...

You and me both. I can only assume it's that strange as the rear lid is also some composite (maybe even the glass) and hence due to the lack of weight they opted for this. Or to focus more on traction. Though I agree it seems mismatched, I guess only driving it would reveal the truth.

The mix of the aluminum intake with the eThrottle and original air box is also rather special.

Perotan visited OURA86Meeting 2022:

This meeting kind of replaced the HachiRock festival in 2015 and is held annually in Oura and organized by a shop called Car Piece. (famous in Japan for restoring a USDM GT-S)
Now that's what I call a meeting! Hurray!

If (like me) you've ever wondered what happened to Iida Akira's 20V Levin, he made a recent video about it. The car doesn't appear to have changed too much since it was built.

When watching this MR2 video I just was amazed how this MR2 hoarder didn't see the value in restoring the cars anymore. I see some examples that, if they were an AE86, would still be saved. Compare that to the AE86 hoarders Juicebox visits and you will see the contrast. I couldn't stop thinking about Cake's "Sheep go to heaven, goats go to hell" and make it sound like "aw11s go to heaven, 86es go to hell" in my head! Big Grin

(for those unfamiliar with the song: I mean the aw11s are boring and die while the 86es are supposed to have fun and aren't allowed to die)

I know that he's trying to keep MR2s on the road, but that video is still depressing to watch. Would love to save a few of those if I had time. This is the first I've heard of that place, but he only lives a few miles away from my father, so I may go for a drive past next time I visit my my father's house. Maybe my father's MR2 is in amongst that lot.
