Removing Power Steering from AE86, Need Help, Thanks!!!

Yeah, robokill I dunno why that did not occur to me earlier. Cuz when I start the car cold the rpms go to 2k. Then drop too fast and the engine stalls. I cant keep it alive with the gas pedal. I will check the manual on the RPM cold start setting. Thans a lot on that idea.


Ivan141, hmmm... This is going to be a little bit more complex then I have anticipated. If I have to get those extra parts... Finding an MR2 is a little bit difficult here, especially with an engine in it.. Come to think of it I know I of MR2 in the parking lot. LOL

I think, I will try to keep it on for now till I find an idler pulley. Thats what really making get rid of PS. I couldn't find an GTS just SR5 at the yard. So no pulleys. You wont belive how much a dealer wants for a idler pulley here. $270 CDN, and its got to come from Japan.

I'll see what I can do with the rpm, and hold of on the removal...
