Clutch differences LUK vs Exedy
Hi All,

I have an issue with a clutch kit.
As my gearbox is removed as it had some issues i wanted to renew the clutch while everything was off.

As i'm not doing trackdays with this car i decided to go for a normal clutch replacement kit by LUK.
When comparing the 3 components of the kit with what came of the car we saw that the bearing was much different.

The one whith the LUK kit was only 2.4cm tall , the old one (with exedy set) was 4.6cm tall.

When looking up the numbers on the items, I can't seem to find a picture of a similar bearing.

As for the reference on the old set
Pressuregroup: Exedy 8G18A TYC553
Clutchplate Exedy TYD008UF 8G06A
Bearing: KOYO RCTS4067A

Can somebody help me clearing this up?
Also, i assume when installng the new smaller bearing there will be some difference in the pedal I guess, but what?

That's a FWD bearing. Not compatible with the RWD gearbox.
By the way, I can guarantee that NO clutch kit (even a "RWD" kit) comes with the hub (only the bearing; the bottom part of your old setup)

Indeed, the number is Ina F-572637.01 and that's for a fwd..idiots
