This is the only thing that I've forgot to check when I assembled the new bearings. |

The ability to drift your car is primarily governed by the amount
of power you have, and the amount of grip. Having a Limited Slip Differential is a big help The only benefit from using a 4.7 instead of a 4.3 is that you "close up" the gap between gears, and effectively make each gear a little lower. First gear with a 4.3 is already very low. Making it even lower will more or less make it useless, as you will easily be able to start off in second gear. And, while I am not a drifter, I would guess that unless you are doing donuts around cones, you are not going to use first gear much at all. So, I say use the 4.3 and get yourself a set of wheels with some skinny tires, pump them up to 45psi and go drifting Then put your good wheels and tires on for driving to work. Cheers... jondee86 |

Get 4.7's if you drift and live with either going slower on the motorway or dealing with higher rpms/noise. IMO.
