Glad to hear you enjoyed the track and that the car behaved nicely! Any plans on suspension upgrades for the future?

Nice cars your mates have, btw! Wink

Yes suspension upgrades are a must. Car felt a bit washy on track suffering from understeer. Can also see if one of the pics I got at the track that the shocks just eat the rear wheel under load, so coilovers next I think!

Yeh they have lovely cars. The evo is silly quick and the MR2 is silly quick and looks the part.

So its been a while since I've updated this. Car has been put to one side as I've been so busy with work and getting the house fixed up.

I've swapped out my Cobra Suzuka Pro seat for a Bride kevlar. Cobra was a great seat but just didn't feel it went well with the 86 and was actually to big for me. You'll see in one of the photos the size difference in the seats

Fixed the issue of the dash lights with a new dash cluster. i swapped out my everything from my old dash into the new dash IE odometer and a few bulbs. No idea why my other one wasn't working as i tested everything on it.

Also got myself some coilovers to try and sort out the handling. Turns out the car 'CARBOY' coilovers. same as the VHS/dvd company that did many many amazing films. These are in the process of getting fixed up as one has a blown front shock.

Also got round to cutting my Nurbergring date sticker.

Cant think of anything else right now. Pics below!

Passenger seat is recaro but I have no idea what from. Looks like a FORD maybe? But I had one in the drivers side as well when it was imported. The rails where on adaptor plates and no markings on the rails. Comfy as hell but they sat to high up for the drivers side. Looking to get some rails made for them to sit a bit lower in the future.

Yeh I like it. Not driven with it yet. Fits better in the rail compared to the Cobra. We bit tight on the old hips but seems to hold me in well. Also it weighs next to nothing.
