Nice wheels. Will be interesting to see if you can make the Hilux diff idea work. Kudos for trying.
If you find you are forced to widen the arches, bear in mind that they usually taper downwards, so you have to allow enough room for suspension movement. So for example, with TRD fenders we've fitted to a project car we didn't run the rims as wide as the arches, or they'd rub the FRP fender's edges & damage them on hard cornering.
