Ricks project AE85 (Back together with dyno results)
W55-58 trans are good.. need seriously torque to brake them. about 400hp engines starts to brake them.
dount remember he torque of those. 500hp engines CANNOT hande one 3gear acceleration from low rpm.. from lower gear and then to bigger it can handle nice power.. Mine ae86 have also w serie trans and hilux rearend |

Hi Rick, keen to know if your widebody is a mike shaw one? Also in a bit of a random one but with your spacers at the rear what is your effective offset of your wheels?

I got it from lightning motorsport its a copy of a J-blood kit, it was a not a very good fit at all it took a lot of work to make it look half decent, I don't recommend them. Do you mean the overall width of the diff? or the rim offset? I am not running spacers anymore, the diff is a full width Hilux Surf diff about 1485mm disc to disc from memory.
