T283 - AE86 differential / LSD problems

Guys, I would like to share with you recent problem I had with my differential.
AE86 with stock 4A-GE, stock LSD.
Recently I decided to rebuild complete diff so I went with:
- halfshaft bearings
- all diff bearings
- crush sleeve
- Wier 4.7 final gear
- MAX grip LSD kit http://www.weirperformance.com/maxgriplsdkits.html
- solid pinion spacer





After rebuilt diff was very stiff. Also it is locked even if the car is not in gear. When parking or on tight turns it did make harsh noise. It was nothing unusual since I already had cars with ATS Deftforce (talking about stiff diff!) and KAAZ 2-way diffs.
I did around 100 laps on track grip driving, 2-3 drift events, one rally on gravel and some winter / show / touge drifting.
After last snow drifting I was driving home slowly when diff started to make grinding noise.
Driving straight - no sound. Powering out of a curve - grinding noise.

So I have removed the diff from the housing and found strange marks:



After opening I have found this


Broken "satellite" pinion - not sure the name.


So I would guess that MAX grip LSD kit with added locking strength and years of drifting caused this.
I went with LSD MAX grip kit, as a cheaper route, but upgraded LSD like TRD or KAAZ might have been better idea.
