TVIS probloms

HEy guys i don't kwon if my TVIS is working so i don't know how to test it i know that it works by vacumm (or am i worng..?) so if anybody can tell me how to test it to see if it's working

What are the symptoms? If the TVIS isn't working correctly you should have less torque in the lower rpms.

You can test it by revving it above 5000 rpm on the throttle and look around the vacuum canister under the TVIS: it should open (above 5000rpm) and close (under 5000 rpm) the butterflies when working correctly.

Well it's hard to rev it to 3000 RPM but after that the engine works good

More info needed! What's hard about getting it to 3000rpm? Is it slow going, does it splutter (technical term )?

When you say it's good above 3000, do you mean runs normally, vibrations, noise, emissions?

That isnt your TVIS.

What does your engine diagnosis tell you.

Ecu could be in limp home mode because of a simple sensor error or vacumm leak.

Could be a busted h/gasket aswell.

Make sure that you're vacuum lines are connected right with the EVAP canister.
