whiteline does them for the Celica's, could probably work on the Carina too. AE86 loweringsprings do fit at the front, if you have the "veerschotel" of an AE86 too.
The front struts are nearly the same as AE86 struts, exept for the mounting holes at the bottom (and in the case of Dennis' and my GT, they are bigger too, but your ST has smaller sized brakes) And since your Carina has the same rear axle as the AE86 i believe (6,7" T series rear end, right?) they MIGHT be the same too. But i'm not too sure about that. difference between AE86 and AA63 brakes: "It's all about the heart, the people who focus on parts, turbo's and all that stuff...they're just losers." -Shinji Minowa |

oldskull Wrote:does it have 4x114,3 or different? Yep, AA63 struts have 10" vented discs, and are still 4x114. And being the resident *A6* chassis nerd, I feel inclined to point out the various models that were available with a 3TGTE, AKA the GTTR versions. 1. TA63 Carina coupe 2. TA63 Carina sedan 4. TT141 Corona sedan 5. TT141 Corona coupe! 7. TA63 celica notchback There was also lower spec'd versions of all of the above, a carina wagon, corona wagon, and an SA60 celica coupe which had the same pop up lights/front end as the celica supra. The parts from all of which, are interchangable in terms of crossmember, mounts, etc etc etc.... Gives you a few more options to find the crossmember or whatever that you need, now that these cars are starting to get a bit harder to find bits for. |
