Warning, topic is sinking!

I've decided to keep the car.
Restoration will be longer task, than I expected before, but i have 2 years until the car's age exceeds 30 years to go for official oldtimer qualification.
I'll post some pics about the procedure.

My TA62 with the CS rims fitted (sorry for poor quality):

Update on 1uz carina- ran the number one big end bearing a while back and was about to rebuild it when i happened across something a little different so the v8 is now gone to a good home(someone elses!)
and i am currently setting up the mounts and custom oil pan on a 2002(i think) hilux 3rzfe.
Once its mounted ill get to work on the turbo manifold and new inlet plenuum- and gathering extra cash for the shopping list of bits to come from LC engineering.
will be looking for a fair chunk more poke from this setup than the last to say the least.

Also some brake upgrades i did earlier this year on the car-works a treat[Image: AEU86 AE86 - The A6 Celica/Carina topic]

Yeah dude, dirty commercial engine makes good with turbo on it. check out youtube for 3rz turbos, also chris rados fwd dragger or paradise racings rwd sport compact celica(runs 7.20s)
not many if any folk using them here yet as they still a bit pricey generally for conversions.
